Hi, Do you have an onboard audio card can be used to test the issue? Download maze runner 3 movie. The latest version of the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum was released on 13 Jul 09, but Windows 7 final version was released on 22 Oct 09. After reading the, I also notice that Creative may not have software development plan for this sound card. This makes me suspect that the sound card driver can be the cause.
According to the, “users are advised to use Audio Console included in this download to change speaker configurations”. You may try these settings to check if the issue can be fixed. I have an Audigy EAX-HD Sound Blaster Model SB0160 on PCI slots. Today, I upgraded the Computer to Windows 10 version 1803 (from version 1709) and although the drivers are installed correctly, the sound does not come out of the speakers and even the 'Creative Audio Console' control software no longer works with the following error 'Can not find the audio device '. In particular, if I make the test from the 'Audio' window in the 'Playback' tab, you can clearly see to the right of the device description that the level rises (the little green bars) as if the device were producing audio, but actually in the speakers or any other listening device like a simple headset will not hear ANYTHING. I uninstalled the drivers; I tried different versions of drivers; I have formatted the computer completely using the boot-dvd; I have updated from version 1709 to version 1803 with drivers already installed; i tried also last unofficial version of drivers; However, the problem remains. It is not a problem of sound card or other hardware, because on Windows 10 version 1709 and any PREVIOUS version of Windows 10, 8 (8.1), Seven, Vista, XP the sound worked perfectly including the 'Creative Audio Console' control panel. It is ridiculous that having this same Operating System and same developed source code has created this serious problem, for PRIMARY AUDIO CARD in this my computer. Considering that you are discussing with a technician, I am open to ANY 'software advice' to solve the problem here, why I'm not going to buy another sound card for this stupid bug.

I faced the same problem as you, so I looked online for a possible solution and shared my experience what is wrong with that? Stress out man, it's just an old sound card. Even for super expert IT technician like you, it's time to move along. For free any new Linux distribution make a good driver for Sound Blaster in question. I have assembled a hardware, I bought a Windows 8 license for 140.00 Euro that I passed to Windows 10 and the computer has always worked as a new one just come out of the factory, just because I'm a good technician.
The internal Realtek card works with Windows 1803 and is very old, but the audio quality is really very bad. I paid € 140.00 for a Windows license, it seems right that i remain abandoned to myself, for laziness of developers? Yes, I know that money is born on trees, but I do not have these trees in my garden.
